Ripples and Rhythms

Mother Nature, an architect of life

About My Collection

Fascinated by the organic shapes and rhythmic patterns observed in nature, Jayie’s collection ‘Ripples and Rhythms’, examines processes of growth and erosion that contribute to the dynamic ecosystems of our natural world.

An explanation for the vibrant colors and intricate patterns of living organisms eludes me, yet I am captivated by the chromatic shell of a beetle set against an equally brilliant green leaf or the scales of fish glistening with the movement of the ocean.

Looking up at the arrangement of leaves in the rapidly growing forest of weeds in my backyard, I see nature as a purposeful architect, designing structures with efficiency and meaning through creativity and time.
